x16xe engine is it an easy job to do your self?ive seen a re-con head on ebay for 225 would that be better then gettin it done?

Stem seals would work out slightly cheaper but they're both big jobs. If you're paying a garage then perhaps 300-500 at a guess.

What engine is it?

my caris using oil and so i know it must be the valve stem seals or the piston rings how much is it going to cost to get these things put rite?
