Simple maths

Take two numbers, eg 54.

Use x to represent the 5, and y to represent the 4.

Subtract the digits:

54 - 5 - 4 = 45

This is identical to:

50 + 4 - 5 - 4

Or to put it another way - remember here that x is in the tens column, so it 10x.

10x + y - x - y

The +y and -y cancel, leaving

10x - x

Which equals

9x

ie. whatever you put in, you'll always get a number which it 9 times the most significant number.

9 is the magic number :)

except ALL numbers over 81 as it is impossible to get 82 and above on this equasion :P

FFS,

when u take away BOTH numbers of any 2 digit number u get a number which is divisable by 9

ALL the 9 times table has the same symbol and each time u do it they ALL change

its a trick

each time the symbols change and you will only ever be able to end up with 14 different possible numbers,

look at the symbol for "0" this will always be the symbol under the grey box

if you look at 9,18,27,36 and keep going up on the diagonal line look at the symbol and thats what it will be under the square.
