You prolly wouldn't have been able to go with telewest. Those two companies work together and don't supply the same areas. You're stuck with one or the other (although telewest - blueyonder is great :D)

i get over 6GB a night on both of my lines.... my FTP is always full :/ need more space 150gb aint enough

NTL are putting a cap on so you can only D/L 1GB a day

yea but NTL are restricting you to 1GB/day i pull 58k/sec on my 512k DSL line and 260ish on my 2mbit line. my 512k/sec line is only £22.50/month but work pay for em :) . www.freedom2surf.com Pete

Thanks Tim i was thinking of that no dial up thing. Plus it's not much more than i'm paying now! :)

How much do you have to pay for Blueyonder? Do you have Modem cost's?

Oh and why Adam? NTL not good? :boggle:

yeah ive got that package and its good, and the cheapest around, all others are over 20 quid a month

Try Blueyonder (depends on area)... but i'm 20quid/month on 512K

Yeah definitely worth the upgrade. You'll only be getting around 40kbps outta your 56k modem on a phone line anyway due to line conditions.

So this would be 3X faster (which is quite a bit) and would be always on, so you have no dialling up, etc... well worth it if you're paying that already!

I just got a letter off NTL offering 128K for 14.99 a month and a one off £25 installation fee,I pay this for freeserve anytime at the mo so is it worth it? I would get the 600 or the 1 meg but i canny afford it :(
