whats the Speed limit as the M6 toll is classed as a Private run road and not a public high way. An theres no limit on Private roads.
the police/goverment can not give u a speeding ticket as they can only give u one for roads owned by them, which the M6 toll is not
is there police on there as again police are only supose to go on the public high way??
any one know?

Im sure they will have it the same as the normal M6...70mph otherwise it would become a race strip...and very dangerous...I presume the police have been commissioned to police this road too...

I think they have there own force in a way like clampers do now.
I'd ask at the booth! Imagine that....
'Errr what's the speed limit on here mate?'
'You can go as fast as you want!'
'Oh cheers!' Zooooooooommmmmmm

It would be highly unlikely that there wouldnt be a speed limit on this stretch of road, it would be far too dangerous.

i abmit it is dangerous but think of placeing like the AutoBarn theres no limit areas on there.......
maybe is one of them, takes abit for people to click on before they do anything
M6 Toll is Privatly owned and the M6 Toll company would have to have there own police force. As i can not see the Manger ringing up,
"Hi there i have a new road which i am making can i have a of your police man to come and work on it"

also while on the subject of the m6 toll does anyone find it confusing on which lane to use coming from the south for the normal m6?? the only reason i ask is that my dad went up it accidently from the middle lane and i also saw another truck do it yesterday, he ended up stationary in the hatched area betwen the m6 and the toll trying to get back on the m6!!!

He will be binded under the same laws as the normal highway...it would have been a specification when he was applying for planning permission and the go ahead from government...otherwise we would have carnage with people speeding all the time....

Why would the government specify something that would cost them more money in policing ect....

the only thing i can think they can do is not let you on if they did ever catch you speeding?? cant see how they can inforce it on a private road??? surley it must be the same on other toll roads like the dartford crossing, that has 50mph signs but can they inforce it being a private road??
