Seen it in some mags a while back and they said vauxhall where testing a one six turbo and a two litre turbo. They said it would be either 160bhp or 180bhp, depending on engine size. Sounds good!

That'd be mad. 2 litre turbo in a Corsa - you wouldn't keep it on the road. The 1.8 is mad enough.
Heck, my 1.2 goes too fast sometimes - I nearly rearended a Golf last night as we were both overtaking a tractor.

naa was in autocar a few weeks back.
It was dark blue in colour no cover-up markings opc badges ,and flared arches.
They said it was the Gsi/turbo, everyone says they wont make it maybe due to the fact the C is old as the hills now and the D is due to arrive soon, they might be saving it for then

I can't see it happening. The sort of people that could afford to buy the Corsa Turbo would rather pay a little extra for an Astra Turbo. The people the Corsa Turbo would appeal to wouldn't be able to afford it.

Good Point! would be interesting to see it against the astra turbo though.

What if it compared with the Clio 172, CTR etc, I think it would sell if they marketed it properly.

I doubnt theyd charge £20k for it tho?? So way cheaper than an astra tubby.
Plus that new RS fiesta is coming out, vaux may need to compete with that

Corsa Turbo is likely to be £15k Astra Turbo is likely to be £16.5k
I know which I'd prefer.

Look at the competition,
206 GTi 180
Clio 185
Fiesta ST 150
Civic Type
And what has Vauxhall got?, the SRI with a whole 123bhp. Time for the Griffin to get Kickin.

£15k for a fast Corsa isn't too much. My mates just payed about that for a 206 GTi 180.
I did think they were waiting for the D to develop something more powerful though.

when i spoke to my dealer he said, he'd doubt it would happen for the corsa, and if it did it would be a 1.6 engine not 2.0
