Me Not Happy
Its only got 204.8 bhp kinda down on the performance I was expecting, but have been told by the tuners and by Blydenstein that the engine will get better after the head has coked up. They both have said you should expect another 5 to 6 bhp at min once 1000 miles as been completed.
Got a free rolling road retest in 1000 miles which i guess is ok. Ill put up a rolling road report when i pick the car up on Tuesday

what duration/profile cam is that?
Is it still using hydraulic lifters? if so, it will be lower than 284 or so.... 264?
What rev limit? is the power still coming in when the limit is reached?
A re-think of cam profile could be needed

264 i think the rev limitor is set at 7400rpm and i think it hits the limiter at max bhp

If you have uprated seats/caps and springs in the head go for 285/284's... that'll give you a higher peak BHP, but you'll need a higher rev limit
Fuck it,
get solid lifters, slipper pistons, steel rods, and 300 deg cams..... bang .... 250+ bhp

They only cost about 80 and can be fitted yourself

the rev limiter is controller by the Omex management so adjusting that aint a problem the only reason its set at 7400 is that they suggested anymore than this and there would be plenty of stress on the bottom end .. which like i say is still factory
