that happened to my X14XE, all bent, pistons damaged and head cracked, i was doing 30mph in 3rd and the belt was 14,000 miles old....

I had to have a new engine fitted, wat a bitch.

Plus bought cheap as a run around, not gonna go spending ££ on it are we.
Plus a 20XE corsa would be slower than my 1.4 nova, so doubley no point.

20XE Corsa doesn't have to handle any worse.

Make the 20XE faster than the 1.4

The main reaseon is cost we have spent £450 on the car (standard GSI)

So far £50 in parts to fix it

So £500 for a running GSI cheaper than a 2ltr
