Yamaha R1 Carbs on my C20XE (less the filters)

The powerband has moved up the rev range a bit but boy oh boy when it hits 5000rpm kinda feels like Vtec kicking in.....just keeps pulling and pulling....well chuffed

I didn't fit them mate....but the guy that did them took me through everything before I drove it away....there really isn't much too it. I was actually quite suprised how easy it all goes together....

the only major thing was he had to get a new inlet manifold made up to spec. to mate with the carbs.

Yeah let Steven know....i said i'd keep him updated

Cams are definites next.....with all the extra intake efficiency I need some higher lift cams to take advantage.....

popular because they produce more power than carbs, once set up stay set up and are better than carbs

It was drive in drive out for just over £600 mate....all in.
