General question.. I had a unmarked car follow me for about 15 miles today. It was following quite close and i was sticking to the speed limit or going no more than 5 mph above...
Anyway, we got to a bit of duel carrigaeway i sat at 70 and it just sat right behind me, so i decided (stupid i know) to put my foot down, got to about 95mph then slowed back down, the car then came next to my rear quarter (Octavia VRS unmarked car) sat there for about 10 seconds, then proceeded up the duel carrigeway at easily 100 mph...
My real question is, do they have to pull you ? Incase you couldn't tell i'm slightly worried.
Cheers

Pisses me off when they stick on your arse, next time they do it I'm gonna pull over and let them past. Sometimes they have their headlight aim so bloody high so you can't see it's Police I guess. I can spot them a mile off though

What else i don't get is, i was behind but a bit far back but enough to see he went right at the island(me going straight on), just as i had gone up he swung it round the bollard, then followed me at a distance? Then got to a island with traffic lights he came up next to me but about half a car length back and just went the opposite way.

Well the unmarked cars round here have a small space in between the last 3 letters in the plate for example a unmarked Astra CDTi round here's reg is SK06 A HA and you can tell a mile off just from looking at it My uncle whos a traffic cop told me thats what they do round here and thats how you tell

You'll probably get done for taking a pic of a Police car
I took a pic of one once and he ran down the road after me

Round here you can spot the unmarked cars a mile off once you get used to the differences.
I'm curious as to why you'd notice the Police on your tail, and then speed up to 25mph over the speed limit?

Oh well Anyway its not like a massive space that we use to make the plate like this its just a small space(but its slightly bigger than the rest of the spacing on the plate) between the 5th and 6th letter of the plate
