What is like, the best video card on the market? My motherboard has built-in nVidia GeForce2 64Mb graphics, but I feel the time has come to start upgrading my PC, so first thing I'm going to do is get a decent video card.

(title amended so as not to offend PC "experts"...)

Pass... It was built about a year ago, so I would have thought x8? I'll have to check this when I get home.

As for £... well I am going to budget about £200 for a decent card.

i would say the best card out there is something like a 3DLabs Wildcat4 7210.

the only thing is you would have to sell youre car to get one

and a Radeon 9700 Pro 128MB DDR i can sell to you for £270

I do a lot of graphics manipulation (I design web sites in what's laughingly known as my spare time).

PC only has 256Mb RAM as well, so I'd like to upgrade that too at some stage, what's the biggest amount you can get, 1Gb or something?
