Any one know how much approx it would cost to get a garage to fit a new rocker cover gasket on a 1.4 16v engine?

do it urself, only tricky bit will be puttint the inlet back on the throttle body, easy tho if u have patience!

Broster ; I did think about it mate, do you have to replace the inlet manifold gasket on refitting.
Also do you remove the throttle body aswell.

Its sooo much easier without the standard inlet manifold

do it ureself, its very easy to do, invest in a haynes manual and follow the procedure for the c16xe engine as it doesnt covr the 1.4 16v

I agree miles, since me mantzel power box all the annoying problems you get with GSI engines become piece of piss to fix
