is this possible if there machined correctly to the correct lengths? Or would it be easier & cheaper to get ones made up?
Asking about propshafts aswell as wondering if its possible on those aswell

yes it is poss and not that expansive, about 120 for a set of 2 shafts
i take it your after 4x4 if u are then theres alot more work then just shorting the shafts, u need somwhere for the prop shaft to go (calibra floor pan)

aye i know i need to do a tunnel or something, unsure if I'll be able to have a passenger seat because of this, only gona be a bucket tho!
will also need to get a custom fuel tank made up, full alloy jobby more than likely & mount it where the rear seat used to be, etc...
least I know its possible to shorten the shafts & stuff, not a bad price either

Used 4x4 system from Calibra Turbo.
Increased front track with of corsa so that it is the same as the calibras. (as using calibra driveshafts all round)
Removed steering rack & refitted 30mm higher up bulkhead so as to clear transferbox. Still very tight though.
Fabricated new lower crossmember to accept rear gearbox mount.
Rear- cut original corsa floor pan out to behind front seats. Weld in Calibra floor pan to mount original calibra independant rear suspension & diff. Petrol tank fabricated in boot.
Prop shaft shortened by 180mm. (taken from the the third section of the shaft at the rear diff end).
It is possible to do, but involves a lot of time to make parts, fit them, remove them, modifiy them then refit them etc.

Beardy...
Out of interest (mainly as I can't find no details anywhere else ) how much wider is the track of the cally turbo compared to the corsa??

Corsa track is 1388mm, Calibra turbo is 1426mm on the front and 1446mm on the rear.
