yeah, service it. New plugs, leads etc. Some injector cleaner to free up the injectors. Best thing for them is to get them ultrasonicly cleaner.

clean the air filter. stick in some 98RON shell optimax and then stick some fuel additive in on top

make sure theres the right oil water levels etc

Yes, check coolant and oil levels and make sure your fuel is topped up. Check the radiator fan is working too, cos things get pretty hot. If it's just a power run, you won't use much fuel, but if there's any mapping involved, you'll be surprised how much you can use. Finally check that the tyre pressures are correct - over or under-inflation will affect accuracy of result.

don't bother with higher ron fuel, it's a pointless waste of money you're car won't gain power from it. just make sure your cars running sound, ie plugs are good, oil's good and enough, coolants good and enough etc..! maybe run a bit of carb cleaner through it to clean out all the shit.

Check oil, check coolent, check tyres, check petrol, check filter clean; check plugs.

I got told if you over inflate the tyre's it gives better results, thru less drag/friction or something - dont know if its a load of shite tho???

id rather run my car on RR the way i run it everyday then you would know what power your car can produce any day of the week

Yes, over-inflation will artificially bump up your reading (less energy expended in deforming the tyres as the spin the rollers)

check tyre pressures kerry, and the car isn't running funny, basic checks like oil, coolant, just for peace of mind
