in desparate need of a new engine my dad put mine back to gether the other day and cought a jubblie clip in it when he started it up it whent bang took the bottom off today and its shatterd the piston so anyone got a 1.6 engine for sale mine was a 1.4 8v how much would it take to put a 1.6 16v in it please help me now!!!!!!!!!!

fit a kent cam to your 1.4 and get and extra 50bhp much cheaper mate

u culd get a 2 litre for less than that, sorry my mistake that 1.6 u have probably has a couple of cams each worth 200 brake

erm its 98 engine with 24 thou miles on the clock thats why its 600 quid
