If you want a MK4 then wait for the new one to come out cos prices of the MK4 will drop. If you really must have a brand new car then buy the new one when it comes out.

I was gonna get a MK4 Sxi 1.6 but even the vauxhall dealer advised me against it because of the new one

The GSI is lovely. I would wait until the new one is released then snap up the GSI then. Definately Mk4.

Cheers for all your Advice, Going to wait till early next year see what happens.

Not in a rush for a new car just saw a bit of a bargain while mine wasted getting fixed again

Just had a insurance qoute for it if did buy one now till the end sept 2004 it would only cost me an extra £328 on top of my current priemum?? My current car is Corsa SXi with a few mods the other thing which made me laugh was that a 2.2 SRi would have been more to insure than a GSi
