can hire it if we get a few cars together. I'll have a performance meter soon and I have friend who has one also. we can use these for rough times but generally just race each other off the lights

I wouldnt mind, but I wont have my corsa for atleast 18 months due to rebuilding it from the shell up...

if it takes off though reckon it could be made into a regular event or something? wouldnt mind having a go when i get back on the road TBH

It depends on what you go for we do a proper timed event with all the gear for a minimum of 40 participants @ £35.00 per head ,or you can join in on one of our normal days with separate classes for your club only for the normal admission.Or you can do one of our track days with minimum of 10 participants at £35.00 per head which involves use of our quads, short circuit, drifting oval, long circuit then finish with untimed drag racing (1 on 1 style).
When you have decided on a date and what you want to do then you send in a cheque for 1/2 the amount (to book chosen date) with the rest to be paid on the day before we start.please forward a list of dates that you want.
Regards
Crail Raceway

Dave, I thought it wasnt a track day - only people who entered the Rally could run?

Edzell would be a good location, tested there a few times and its good fun, but many will not like it as the small gravel parts will chip their paintwork.

Edzell sounds perfect though!

Yeah but some of us are interested in track/corners.

1/4 mile is dull. Anyone can drive fast in a straight line.

don;t get me wrong I like corners. if your going to do a track then it should really be some time during the year when it's decent weather

I did a track day at Crail in a Mk1 Golf GTi, great fun but that track is fucking terrible. Full of ruts, shat my pants big time when I went round a corner sideways and back wheel dug into a rut and I thought I was going over.
