ok guys,

brougth my car 4 yeards ago brand new. 2 years later head gasket went, after number of trips down to vauxhall getting bits and bobs changed, they cam to the decision the head gasket had gone, so paid for them to do this, fine, 2 years later and 20000 more miles on the clock its gone again, seen the block, there is rust on that and the gasket it's self. Spoke to Vauxhall, they say i dont have any claim against them becuase A) it's out of warrnty and B) its not being done at an authorised vauxhall dealer. i have all recipets of the work I have done at Vauxhall. I feel the job was not done correctly first time at Vauxhal causing it to go again. Anyone know where I stand ??

Any help would be great.

Cheers,
Neil

there aint much you can do really as you had it done 2 years ago and in them 20000 miles you might have totally ran it into the ground.plus there is no way you can prove it was vauxhall's fault all they will say is you might have run it out of water, thrashed it so that's that really

if the car was 10 years old I would understand but 4 years out and 40'000 miles, there has to be a problem there don't you think
