oh its been done lol, 14's just look rough tho, considerin gettin em polished aswell for the sake of it,

when i got mine polished a local fella did it as a bit of extra money an only charged me 35quid a rim for the 16's and that sorted out the kerb mamrks aswell.

Now he is tryin to get it up an runnin as a business it has become a lil more expensive, the likes of 14" saxo rims are £45 a rim and as size/spoke deisgn increases so does the work involved so £+

they aint easy to keep either as they arent lacquered

bare metal finish must be polished with a fine polish such as auto sol metal polish ocne a week or so, so keepin em clean in winter aint gonna be a nice experience!!

if u dont mind the maintenance then u really will have a head turnin effect on ur motor!!

when u see the rims in motion its unreal, i have tog et ppl to drive me car to get a p[eak every so often an it still blows me away after 6 months!!

np at all m8

ya can get a lacquer put on em but if u kerb the wheel or the lacquer gets stone chipped etc. an water gets under it all starts to corrode an looks rubbish!!

the fella advised me against it cos in order to repair the rim he wud have to strip all the lacquer off and start polishin the lot again, ££££

whereas the way they are now if they become dull/tarnished (which they havent in 6 months) or u kerb em he can repair the damage for around £10 a wheel,

i kerbed 2 in a lil incident one nite an he did it for me in a few hours 10quid a rim

well if u cant find a place to do em u can buy polishin kits from motorcycle shops which u cud use, but it cud take a fair amount of time and effort to get a gd finish!

if u can find somewhere that does polished engine bits etc they shud be able to help!!

keep us posted as to how ya get on if u do go for it!!

dont get to see many other rims done!!
