boyracer2002 (jacko) and all teh cruisinuk.com membrs are my witnesses... i took everything apartf rom the carpet out (dash, speedo, roof lining, every panel, gear gaitor thing, everything) then replaced the front seats with buckets and drove around with it like that for weeks
it was enjoyable but made teh rear of my car look well high so i put the stuff back in lol, made me quite a bit faster TBH!!

i'm half tempted to take the dash out, but what do you do about the heater and stuff?
you'll lose all the vents, so where will the air go?

Just shorted the pipes for the matrix and link them together, and pull all the fan etc... out.

I'm in the process of putting all mine back in and it's far easier taking the bastard bits out than putting them back

so you have no blower for the windscreen and no interior heating?
are there alternatives? i know you can get heated screens, but what about the interior?

heated screen fog x on the other window's and a good fleece
I find cold ankles and feet are th ebiggest issue, but you normally want to stop and get a coffee at any services. and when you're thrashing the car you don't notice it.
You can get incar heaters, but they are much heavier than a fleece, and are for girls
