just been up to max london
bought an induction kit from ripspeed
does not fit the bloke asked me all my specs give me the wrong one the plank
when takin out the original box i have a red wire goin onto it and an extra hose
it could be me
can anyone help

red wire is a vaccum pipe folow this back to the carb and take off
there shud be a little black rubber plug in the box put this where the red on was

what extra hose do you have what engine guessing itsa 1.2/1.4 8v

right follow the red wire/pipe back to behind the carb pull the little metal spring holding it on pull it off
and replace with the little black plug

ps the hole in front of the blue pipes
was there a pipe on there
do u just take it off completely

yes just take that pipe off completely its the hot air pipe from exhaust manifold

yes the black rubber plug thing shud be in the box u got the induction kit in

right all i can suggest is block the end of the red pipe with somthing a screw or summit and tie it safley out of the way of anything moving "with tie clips"

and thatll sort it

u fitting it in the dark?

yes there shud be a bracket that hold the piperx to a mounting point where the old box went

Adam D- what does the red wire do, cos it used to attach the original air filter box, but now just dangles, do i need to get rid of it?

if you follow it back and plug it at the carb thall do it k&n supply a little rubber plug cover for it
if you block the end of the pipe and tie it out the way itll be fine
