as above where is the best place 2 get free virus software cause ive just got my new pc and want it protected.

i use AVG 6.0 it seems to work alright think you can download it free prolly better ones out there but this one works fine

i got the norton antivirus and firewall for£40 from pc world i havent had a problem since.

Norton Antivirus is absolutly pants, not worth the money at all.
Get AVG, free to download as you have already been told. I have Version 7, very good piece of software, not let me down to date and even ealt with the MSBlast virus that was going round.

Dont touch anything by Tiny, thewy aint got a fecking clue.
Defo get AVG Antivirus, version 6 is completly free, version 7 is free if you know where to look.
For firewall go for Norton Personal Firewall 2003, once again dont pay for it if you know where to look, not bad firewall at all really, shame their antivirus aint as good.

I use AVG 6.0 too. It's free and doesn't slow your system down unlike that Norton. I'd try AVG 6.0 free edition and if you like it you can always buy the pro version form them
