i have fit a set of wheels 195/50/15 and i going to drop the car by 40 mm someone can tell me if it is a good idea ? also if i lower the springs can i use standard shock as they are completley new and cost me ££££ !!

as long as the offset of your wheels is between et42 & et49 u will get no rubbing

and your std shocks are fine as long as you dont go any lower than 40mm

Wait till you hit your first pot hole at 40mph.
