some advice needed.....if i replace the standard cd player with a aftermarket one, will the steering wheels controls and display panel still work with the new unit?

if you get a sterio from halfords ect, they should have the adapters there, as far as i know sony and kenwood will work, dont know about others.

does anyone know what wire to cut so the MFD shows the date?

i bought a audioleads kenwood adaptor. this works fine with my controls and shows all track information and shit

Aye, you can get the adaptors in Black ot the early style silver from Autoleads (Halfords, etc) or you can gt the later revision silver ones from Vauxhall too



By default, the radio info on the MFD wont show, nor will the steering wheel controls work but as Paul has said, you can get adaptors for the wiring.

blac 1s are made buy autoleads u can get em from most halfords on vauxhll probably or any ca audio shop
