i have a L reg, 1.2 LS want to know if i have electronic or cable diven speedo. How can i find out easily without taking my dash out? Where do i look in the engine bay?

i havent got a clue mate on how u convert it. just get a set of cable driven ones from an SRI or GSI

best man to talk to is cobra off here. U2u him and he will tell u. There was a post on it a couple of months ago and i remember he explained how to do it

you should have got the gearbox transponder thing when you bought the digita dash, you have to get the exact one that goes with the dash cos there are many variations

i found a senator digital dash which i thought id have a go at fitting to be different

oh might be different then, all i know is with the astra digi dashes you need to get this sensor for the gear box, it replaces the old cable driven bit that is screwed into the gearbox

for the astra part would it just be a case of screw one of, screw on the new on?

I aint done it myself but i think you gotta screw the part from the astra into your gearbox and run the wires ti the dash!!!!, there should be a guide on how to do it on here matey
