could of been worse... at least clarkson said he wished there was cruising when he was younger...
he could of been like 'whats the point of this? 'whats the point of that' - 'lol @ this banged up nova' etc...
when I was there, I heard him laughing at some flaming exhausts saying 'whats the point? I bet it makes it go slower etc'
he also mocked some guy for playing porn on his tv's in his car and shouted they were insane when the beemer was donutting...
Thankfully they cut it all out 
partly to do with me I think - there was a guy following clarkson about, and I said 'is this for top gear' he said 'yes', I said 'I bet they make us look like pricks' - he said 'what?'
I said 'I bet they edit it so us cruisers look like twats and dangerous' - he said 'well I'm the editor, and I'm not going to try to'

I said, they could of edited it - to show constant flaming exhausts + showing off porn to JC... but they didn't...
hence it wasn't as bad as it could of been.

BTW, he monaro they had on the show was the 360bhp version, not the 500bhp one  Dont be forgetting the tuned one which does 0-60 in 4secs

no, they had the standard HSV GTO, then a HSV special tune which was 400 something brake, but they did not have the 500bhp version on the show.

Carltons are going for less than that, Warrender had one the other month for £16995. I'm undecided whether I like or dislike the Monaro. Half of me says that £28k is A4 convertible money, the other half says hooligan weapon, get it bought.

The Carlton is legendary, and its status is still one of the most desirable vauxhalls to leave the showrooms. However, i dont think i could look after a beast like that if i ever had the money, so would probably opt for the Monaro, and get it supercharged

I think it's nice and the special tune one did 60 in 4 secs and was 440hp
@ the rude boys aswell they did make it all look a bit sad
