What is Cisco IOS

I cant find any sites that actually say what it does/is??

all i can find is where to buy it

its the software used on their routers, switches and hubs.

i think its stored in nvram.

i think it stands for integrated operating ssytem, runs on most cisco kit that can be managed such as adsl/isdn routers, routers, switches. Lets you edit everything from a web interface or login (using telnet normally).

cheers for ur php thing, i'm trying to go simpler still and not use the sql bit & jus have 1 cookie set at the beginning remembering if the user has voted before. If so the results are shown. I've based the vote on sum of cs's finest corsa's
