parked my car and need to straighten up due to tight car park, handbrake up to let some dippy bird manouver behind me, scrapes my back bumper then does one.
unfortunately for her not quick enough as i got her plate and been to cops
question is, its only a small scratch and i dont wanna go insurance, what shud my plan be when it cums to the decision time, bearing in mind she has comitted a serious offense by leaving after an RTA!

i would think yourself lucky, a scratch on a bumper is shit all compared to someone reversing down the side of your door, scratching the fuck out of it and creasing the bastard to hell, i envy your damage

it wount because the bird that did it will pay from her insurnace! not as if you have to claim on yours as it wasnt your fault.

Exactly the same happened to me last week, a neighbour, in her yellow chiquecento. Didnt even come and tell me, which took the mick.
I know she's pretty poor + stuggles to pay stuff etc so i dont have the heart go and demand £100+ for bumper respray, so i've just thought of it in more of a moddin view, and gettin the full bumper sprayed in the new year It just takes the mick she cudnt tell me that it had happened, or apologise.
However, in ur case, go for it. Get cops to sort it out (ask for advice on who shud pay etc)
