if you take that 106mph and then take 10% off then that is what you were most likely doing. 95.4mph

I have a modified 1.2 16V corsa B with 16's and HEAVY install. Mine tops out at 110mph. My mates 1.0 12V corsaC (standard) is just as quick and can hit about 105mph.
Cant wait til April though as the new lump goes in -> £2500 for a drive in drive out C20XE engine conversion with a years insurance with Adrian Flux fully comp all-mods declaired sounds good

Some Fords has a procedure where u pressed the trip reset button in hold it before switching on engine and a load of diagnostic things come up , inclusing, accurate revs and digital speedo. I learned this on my old Zetec S from Zetecs.com. Seems the digital was more or less spot on. The speedo read about 1-3 mph over up to about 70, when it went more out of sync, and when you were analogue readout at 100 mph, you were doing about 94. Seems it only needs legally to be within a percentage up to the legal limit then its more out, and it can never read under only over or spot on.
I'd argue the Vauxhalls have similar inaccuracies dialled in.
100 mph is prob about 94-95, 10% is too big a gap.

you lot and ur over reading speedos Sorry, but u've got to smile at this post.
Your 1.0 3 cyclinder (what, 50bhp odd?) is nearly as quick as my old 1.4 16v 4 cylinder with 95bhp.
