hey all.
mates got a sony pentagon amp, 1600w
and 2
12in hollywood dvc subs
how should i wire them, the store he bought them from told him, 2 wire them, Bridge channels on amp,
wire the + on amp 2 + on 1 sub
wire the - on amp 2 - on same sub
then other vc of that sub wire + to the + of second sub
and same with -
then on 2nd sub, wire + 2 - on other coil and - 2 poitive on other coil
now if im right that would only power 1 sub??
how should i wire it??

2 sets of wires:
1 set to sub 1:
wire to negative of one coil, then to the other.
wire to positive of one coil, then to the other.
2nd set to sub 2:
wire to negative of one coil, then to the other.
wire to positive of one coil, then to the other.
Connect both sets of wires together at the amp.
Reason ive said 2 sets of wires is because using only 1 set of wires would require quite a thick gauge cable for obvious reasons.
