I have jbl 45w rms 2ways in the front running off the hu, i have a spare 2x75wrms amp, if i amp these speakers up and keep the level on the amp at half way, will it a: sound good, b: not blow the speakers.

It would sound a lot clearer and louder, just don't turn the gain on the amp up to much.

Yes be very cautious with the gains on your amp and for christs sake dont use the 'LOUD' feature on your headunit
