Taking your pride and job to some backstreet garage can only result in headaches.

I took my car to a local garage to have my fk coliovers fitted (funily enough). After about a months useage the front top mount fell through, bending the inner rod and ruining my brand new coilies Reason being that when taken to dubsport i found out the guy who had fitted them didnt use any nut-lock(or simular) paste to keep and generally nothing was tight.

Thatsmy 2 cents worth

Nut lock is just a glue that sets the threads tight to stop them rattling free.

It's about £3 from Halfords

Any decent garage would have used thread lock.

make sure you get about 4 quotes from differengt garages. i went to 3 and the price range was from £70 all fitted to £130 , so i paid £20 for an eleccy wrench and did it myself
