Foz - I use telewest cable. and cos we have the fone line it costs £25 a month and i cant complain, except the cable technicians are useless.

£25 a month with free modem 600k connection but every couple of weeks goes down for about a day to 3 days

Your area is probably being upgraded ATM to cope with more 1mb/s connections. I have 600kb/s NTL and i cant complain now the local problems have been ironed out.

Have BT Openworld, no probs for me altho my mate has telewest and he gets the fastest download speeds IVe ever seen. Might be his area but Ive heard of other people saying it was really fast also

oh and they dont really need to dig your garden up much unless its situated funny I suppose. When I had mine they dug a little trench down the side of a wall we had. Did a tidy job suprisingly
