My alternator belt has just snapped, how easy are they to replace bearing in mind that its a C20 XE, oh and NO power steering, very quick responses need here folks.

cant be that bad - slacken alternator - fit new belt, pull back alternater to tighten belt and tighten id imagine

but dont know for sure - sorry

I thought the same drew but my uncle said that I might have to loosen one of the engine mounts as he had to do this on his vectra???
