He's 18, just passed his test and needs insuring on his M-reg 1.2 Corsa. He has been getting quotes, but they are all over £1500.

He has had one quote from liverpool victoria which was £1050.

Is this reasonable?? The postcode doesn't help as its on a council estate

Anyone know any good insurance companies to get quotes from ??

This is because he is 18, no dirving experience and lives in a dodgy area of Hull.
Try Direct Line, Tesco and Elephant, all may be able to give a reasonable quote

Tell him to try Tesco insurance. I had the same problem until i put in the car registration number which knocked off £500. Knock up the excess, go TPFT and lower the mileage. I live in a really dodgy area were every night a car get nicked and i pay £1016 TPFT with 10k miles.

Hope this help
