.......just for a pc to do word processing on, excess, databases etc and some possible VB work.

dosnt have to be anything flash

whats the lowest XP will run on? or 2000??

dont want to pay more than 150 all in (2nd hand)

wheres best place to buy??

yeah, my old machine runs XP/office 2k just fine
