I've just sold my phone on ebay, and the buyer has been ringing me up and wants to transfer the money directly from his account into mine.
Has anyone done this before? I'm a bit worried about it because i have to give some stranger my bank details and he could rob my account.
Cheers for any help

your account number & sort code are fine
these are of no use to him as he would need photo id to withdraw funds over the counter
or at least answer security questions
thats the way my halifax account works
ring your bank and check with them for a defo answer
