car broke down o me last night on the way to darlo to station!! couldn't select gears!! i had to drive all the way home in 4th gear and hope nothing stopped me other wise i was fucked!!!
clutch has gone!!! getting a new one fitted!!!!!
what is the avarage life of a clutch?? how many miles??

depends on how its bn driven, a clutch should last anything over 60k

well i never got 60k out a mine lol!!!! it costing me £65 for new clutch (brand new not a reconditioned crap) plus the price of oil and labor!! think will be about £100 find out in the next hour :S

try over 1k for a clutch fitted, then ya would be crying
my clutch alone was over 200quid

It cant be the way he drives he is well steady i fcuk my dads clutch in the zafira it was only 5 weeks old 53 reg i had to have a ride in the aa van lol garage said i must of been driving it to hard but vauxhall wonted the old clutch and it was there fault not right clutch or somthing LOL

yeah cant be the way i drive!! im steady driver (stroy behind this) think it must have something to do witht the fact that the gear linkage broke last year and had to drive 40 miles in 4th gear and had to ride the clutch!! also could be were i got stuck in snow on berk brow and was stood spinning wheels for 1 hour trying to get up!!!

a clutch should last for ages when driven properly therefore it is down to the individual driving style be it fast or slow
