Totally unrelated to cars..
is it possible to record vinyls onto CD??? If it is, how would you go about doing it...??
A mate at work wants to get a few vinyls (mix style) onto CD... but i went totally blank when he said about it

WE did it by hooking the decks up the the PC and recording with Sound Forge

yes
you need a program which you can record to WAV or MP3 to from the microphone or line-in port.
Get some cable, and plug one end to the Headphone socket on the record player, the other into the Line in port on your sound card.
just play a record, make sure the sound comes out the PC speakers, when it does, select Line IN as the recording source & then record on pc while playing record

i record mine through my laptop with nero wave editor, then burn it to cd.....

can buy programs from pc world to do it so assume ya can download software to do it

yea i used 2 but i had my dex running thru an amp and a cd deck linked 2 teh amp but teh cd deck woz also a cd recorder

i use a mini disc then if i like the mix i'll burn it on my audio cd recorder
