well, would you say to follow the tutorial on this site? do the bore sizes make any difference ie the alternations between 1/4 and 1/2 inch?

I can't remember how it works now.

Something like, smaller bore = Less peak power but more torque, larger bore = more peak power and less torque.

But which way arounbd it is I can't remember.

what should i be aiming for then, more peak power or more torque? all i know is i want the best performance out of my car as i can get (want it to be fast)

Personnally im a torque man. You want a mixture of good torque and power.

so if im to drill my airbox, would mixing the bore sizes make a difference ?

Theres some guides on here how and where to drill the airbox

Mixing the size bores, im not sure tbh. I mean, i know of peopel on here running a grp A 2.5" bore exhaust on 1.4/1.6 engines. YEt im only running a straight through 2" bore on my 2.0.

Dont forget if you make the holes too small that distinctive ecotec sound wont be as loud!

C13 was r/r'd twice.
99 bhp the 1st time & 101 bhp the 2nd time.
Had a Big 'ol Pipercross cone & 2 1/4" full Powerflow system

yer lol dont use a uni chip with tbs, anyway if u get them from sbd u get proper engine management anyway

the guide i wrote was just to show where to drill and how big to make the holes, the only reason ive got some 1/4" holes left is cos i couldent fit 1/2" holes in there, thats why theres alot more 1/2" holes

264 degree shrieck cams
Uprated valve springs and caps
Pocketed pistons
Mantzel powerbox
Omex ecu
7500 raised rev limit
