cache
<memory management> /kash/ A small fast memory holding recently accessed data, designed to speed up subsequent access to the same data. Most often applied to processor-memory access but also used for a local copy of data accessible over a network etc.

Ah right, i see
On a similar note, you know when you type something into a search engine etc and then it remembers what you typed.
eg if you have typed corsa into yahoo and then you start to type another word beginning with c and it brings up corsa.
How do you get rid of all the things you have typed?

Easy.... just plug a monitor into it. Had a similar situation with my mum's laptop, not that there was anything on it that shouldn't be there, but to burn a backup of all the work on it. Most laptops have a regular vga socket.
