iv jus took my rims off 2 look at the damage being done 2 the archs etc

its rubbing up inside the rear arch... to the bare metal...

also on passenger sides susp top mount?

iv rubbed them all done and givin them a under coat of paint and shall be getting loads of underseal 2morrow but iv heard of these things u can insert between the coils that stop them going down too far any ideas?

put longer bumpstops in the rear shocks, works a treat

my m8 has them... there wee wedge like thingys cable tied to his springs to stop them compressing anymore

i used the orginal bumpstops but they made 2 much noise.... arnt they the things on the top mounts? rubber?

dont use those spring wedge things, they create too much pressure points on the spring and could cause them to break. use powerflex longer bumpstops, they stop the suspention compressing as much hence stop the wheels rubing without creating pressure on the springs.

i paid 12 quid for mine powerflex product code BS004 just cut them to the desired length.
