sorry 2 say this but its been done b4 rich at midas styling already has that in his corsa and wid the screen in that position.

don't think i wud have time to make one again, and the patience, takes a lot of sanding and smoothing....and Austin...like ur idea..here is a website which sells the software, think i'm jus gonna use my laptop, put it in boot, and hoook up to screen in dash. website is:

looks good mate I wouldnt mind doing something like that for gauges though (like someone else said), but its the time it would take

Btw, the computer in a car thing isnt new. People have been doing it for ages, for mp3 playing etc etc Running linux, windows (full versions and cut down version which are about 20mb in size). If your really serious about doing it, then i would have a search on google for mp3car and silent(or micro) pc's, http://www.mini-itx.com , (using EPIA boards etc).

cheers visibleman...yea does take a while to do, this was my 1st time using fibreglass and bodyfiller, if ya used it before, prob won't take as long as it took me. I'll have a ganders at that site, cheers.

someone near me has/had a pc in his white rs turbo.
the screen was in front of the passenger and keypad was in the door panel.

Shock resistant with a DC - DC psu and a gfx card solely designed to work with external TV's? Id love to see everyone doing this, all wireless sharing at cruises, would be brill

Austinpxx...visibleman recommended a good site for tiny pc's, quite cheap to, lookin at round £200 for system, any they have RCA out for screen. Think i am gonna do that, and buy that software from the site i mentioned earliear, lookin at total of round £500 i rekon to get a fully workin PC in yer car..would b ace, MP3's etc. not sure where to put PC tho!?!?
