just got a new phone for crimbo its the x1 from o2
i called up to get mms & gprs enabled on ma sim, what else do i need to do so i can send pics cos it still aint working 
also could someone send me a picture from there phone to mine to see if i can receive photos???

if the sim update has been received then it should be fine...ring them and ask to send it again!!

what sim card is in it? if its an old sim it might not be able to receive them

imi got that phone for the missus for crimbo and you have to ring o2 and they activate it for you on the sim and takes about 24hours till it will work , and she can now send pics using o2 mms settings and using the GPRS
Heres the settings you need to put into your phone to set it up.
Please find attached your requested settings for your O2 X1: -
O2 X1 GSM & GPRS WAP Settings Prepay
Menu (LSK):
O2 Active (LSK):
WAP Profiles (LSK):
Choose an Empty Gateway Profile ? Press OK
Default: (if it is the only profile ? this will be set)
Homepage: wap.o2.co.uk (. = # key x2)
CSD:
Username: o2wap
Password: password
Dial-up Number: +447712927927 (+=*keyx2)
IP Address: 193.113.200.195
Data Type: ISDN
Data Speed: 9600
Idle Timeout: 3 Minutes
GPRS:
Username: payandgo
Password: password
APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk
IP Address: 193.113.200.195
Bearer: GPRS Prefer
Connect Mode: Continuously
Security: Off (untick with ?Call? key)
Show Graphic: On
Rename: o2wap
O2 X1 MMS Settings Prepay
Press the 'Menu' option, then ?Messages?.
Scroll to 'MMS' and press 'Ok'.
Scroll to 'Config' and press 'Ok'
Scroll to 'Connection' and press 'Ok
Highlight and select ?Active? and choose an empty profile.
Scroll to option 2 and choose ?edit?
Scroll to each of the following settings, enter as follows and press left
soft key
Setting Name: O2 MMS
Server: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
Gateway IP: 193.113.200.195
APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk
Login: payandgo
Password: password

i foned he said 24 hrs but nuthin has happened so far and i done it on christmas day
rekon i should call again??
is there somewhere online ya can do it. o2 website is useless

they dont send you anything it just becomes active , make shure your settings match ^^^^^ those if yer on Pay as you go
