I have standard dampers with 30mm Eibach springs, the ride seems a little harder lately I was wondering if the dampers were starting to go. The car looks lower at the rear than it was a few months ago aswell and the ride is a little bouncier.
How much would new standard dampers cost compared to Eibach sports dampers?

How can you tell if they are knackered.

if u push down the corner of the car it should settle afat 1 and a half bounces, something like that, theres a test like it.

It might be that the springs have started to settle a bit

can't imagine it would be any worse as the sri is -15mm lower as standard with different shocks so you have basically lowered it another -15mm so it shouldn't have worn the shocks

I'm probably just paranoid as I have heard a lot of people say that lowering with standard shocks will knacker the shocks within 6 months, and I've had mine on nearly 9 months.

I deffinitly notice an improvement when i went from just springs to full kit. Like u said it was more bouncy on just the springs. Also got better again when i went to coilovers

I think you've hit the nail on the head, now I think about it the car was jacked up at the back a few months back when I painted my drums, maybe its just starting to settle back to normal now.

stiffer springs need more damping to control them. Lowered springs with standard shocks wil make for a more bouncy ride (often with worse handling, not better) and increase wear on the shocks. If you suspect an individual shock is on the way out, try rocking each corner of the car, and you'll soon see if one shock is knackered by the excessive amount of rebound. Best option as everyone says is to uprate your shocks. For what it's worth, I had Bilstein Sprintline shocks with Eibach springs and the combination workerd really well.
