you maybe correct, although i didn't expect it to add 100 brake to my 1.0. It won't add anything apart from a wimper of extra noise, although hopefully it might make it have a better idle. I'm only 17 so i didn't expect to have a large engined first car, but its a first car and i like it a lot

drilling the airbox should give you a few extra hp not much and you'll get an induction note too

YEah i know, so i also know u can't reset no bloody ecu. God knows I have dis-connected my battery enough times with all the ICE i used to put in

some bosch, some delco... some motronics i think too

you CAN reset them!!!!!! how do you clear fault codes etc!!!!

Simtec ECUs you cannot reset, I know this for a fact. Not sure about the others though.

and for the benefit of diamo, when you leave the battery disconnected, the ecu resets to factory settings, erasing learned values etc........

i've done it anyway, can't feel my fingers it was so cold but it's done and sounds very good under load and idles better as well !! i'm chuffed with it !! worth doing if u were thinking about it, just adds a little extra noise to the engine bay !!


Oh and just to say i didn't reset my ECU and it still idles and runs perfect !!
