What exactly do you class as 'raping'
With a few mods the CRX will be raping you lot, B16a is a CLASS engine.. basically 100bhp per litre std..
Set of ITR cams, and a few other mods and they will be in the 13's..

Im taking it this was in a straight line as well?
The ones you 'raped' were they Delsols or Mk2's (dont like the delsols personally)...

the crx can do 7.2 0-60 time and have also been told they are faster than pug 306 gti-6 and a punto gt but would struggle with the corsa ( 2litre) and i am talking about the 2 seater crx with around 160 bhp vtec engines are as said by screaming vtec CLASS so think i will be looking at buying 1 in summer

If you are comparing to a Corsa with a 2.0 engine swap, then why not compare a MK2 CRX with a B18c5 (1.8) engine?...
hmm 1/4 mile in 12,78 seconds anyone?

How do you know it was a VTEC?! If it was a sol, then it could have been one of several models....

out of the 2 seater ones the B16a engined import will be quickest.. think its badged as a SIR?
The JDM VTI's are the equiv of the UK ESI not vti's..
Not really too up on the Delsols, more into the older ones..
Of which the JDM SIR is the one to have..
People that dont think they are quick, have either been racing people that arnt trying, or 16valvers.. which even then are pretty quick..
The thing with them is to get them to go you got to rev them.. drive them at 8/10ths and they arnt that quick.. drive them hard and they go like buggery..
The B16a is a similar engine to the Integra R engine.. thou the B16a has the ability to rev higher..

Integra R engine doesn't impress me as standard. Seen 106 GTi's beat them up the strip, and although all the "know it alls" will argue, D4 just outpaced one down the hanger straight at silverstone this year And yes, he was trying
Still, the old CRX's are wicked little motors. Friend had one, for a car thats prob 15+ years in design, its a damn fast motor!!!!!
