hellooo people happy new year
ive wanted a black number plate for the rear of my car for ages but was unsure about legalities, im asking now as i saw a new range rover this morning at the gym with a black number plate on the back, any 1 know?????

Its not legal in the UK unless the car was first reg b4 sept '72 or '73.
The law may be different for IOM or some wee islands of the south coast though.
Defo not legal though.

i saw a brand nu clio in black with them on looked well sexy the bloke sed he had em made cos the white and yellow ones were pants.

there is a x5 in darlo on 22s with black and chrome plates, seen it about 10 minutes ago again
in sheff, the dealers all had black plates on their bmw's
ull last 2 minutes max

i had black plates with silver letters on my first corsa, but only cos it was an import from germany, via the republic of ireland, but you need to re-register then. and you get the white and yellow ones.
