Just had an email from Akeemking as I asked him about the safety devices roll cage, and he sent me a scan of the price list for the cage. Basic weld-in cage is £245, but with all the extra gibbins, comes to £549.83 (includes more support, door rails, tunnel brace plate, dash bar, etc...)

Reckon its worth splashing out that little bit extra & get the complete kit?

i'll up a copy of the price list later if anyones interested when I get home, as the garage will more than likely resize the image so it can't be read!

Personally for a track / strip car Id go for a bolt in cage. A full weld in cage is a bit OTT for what your doing. Plus it'll weigh you down a fair bit compaired to a bolt in.

It does look good and all, but for a light weight weekend toy I would go for the cheaper option and then buy door bars etc if you really really want them.

Yeah, but 26kgs is a lot if your trying to make the car as light as possible.

You dont need such a complicated cage for track days / strips.

Decided on the cage...

Prime Cage
32 (Dash Bar)
29 (Rear Strut Brace)
31 (Front Chassis Brace)
34 (Chassis Brace Plate)
30 (Tunnel Brace)
33 (Tunnel Brace Plate)

Unsure whether to get 36 (Seat Rails), but will see about it

Get cage in Feb
