is it true u have to slowly increase the setting on the sub so you dont damage the coil thingy?
it is best to turn it off at night or is it off with the engine being off?
i have the active vibe 12"

you need to wear it in so to speak...run it low for a few hours

Aye you have to break it in like. Run it low for about a week or 2, and then increase the volume by a small amount and play it at that new volume for a week and so on. Thats how I broke mine in anyway.

running in time depends on the subs, but i think mine need about 40 hours.

i just wacked mine up not quite full but nearly, then ran it full for a week then it got fucked in my crash.
