anyone know how i can get more power from 1.2 8v?
i have installed a BFO induction kit.
what would you guys suggest?
i cant afford the insurance to replace the engine

not really any cost effective way to modify the 1.2 8v engine! just make it sound louder

They can be tuned, but not worth the time/money/re-sale/power increase per £ etc.
i.e, dont bother.

would it be safe to say that the 1.2 8v is one of the least powerfull engines ever made?
Like for gods sake the thing is just killing me at the moment
just doesnt like hills at all stupid bloody thing

Same as, 1.2 r soooo slow... but its the only thing i can get without stupid insurance prices.
Just make it look nice, then your car can be all show no go  like me lol

nah havent done a tap to it. still on 13"stealys
gonna put 2l 16v brakes on it soon, as my brakes are going and the standard brakes are a bloody death trap nearly ran up the back of a mondeo on the motorway a few weeks ago when he braked infront of me.
i just wont get insurance on a bigger engine for the forseeable future and im bloody 27! very annoying!
Gonna get a toyota or honda next year so just keeping it to the esentials at the moment, although i will drive a 2ltr corsa in the future may take a few years though

n20 if you want power you can take to different engines/cars.
You'll need bigger wheels for those brakes
